Gear Up (Part 9) – Living Life In Front

Living Life In Front

I have been thinking of all the good excuses as to why I had to get a new post out for the last two weeks of Kingdom Thinking Thoughts, but not a one truly holds water.  Life offers a fruitful schedule, but it’s up to us to take that schedule and put it in order and not let it put us under it’s order.  This morning in church, my pastor made a statement how Martha was too busy to rest at the feet of Jesus.  Luke 10:38-42 AMP “Now while they were on their way, it occurred that Jesus entered a certain village, and a woman named Martha received and welcomed Him into her house.  v 39 And she had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was listening to His teaching. v 40 But Martha [overly occupied and too busy] was distracted with much serving; and she came up to Him and said, Lord, is it nothing to You that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me [to lend a hand and do her part along with me]! v 41 But the Lord replied to her by saying, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; v 42 There is need of only one or but a few things.  Mary has chosen the good portion [that which is to her advantage], which shall not be taken away from her.”  I have found myself in that very same place!  I say it’s time for a change!”

I have to be honest that when I started this blog, I was looking to acquire as many followers as I could; but looking back at this, I realized I was approaching this so very wrong.  Now I am not speaking for anyone else in this post or saying one is right or wrong for having this approach, but it is not the one that is for the Kingdom Thinking blog.  It’s not about how many, but instead about those that are hungry and those that are lost.  It’s about discipleship through revelation and relationship.

So I am taking the cat and turning it around and as they say, “rubbing it the wrong way”.  Time to go upstream after the lost sheep that have strayed and that can’t seem to find their way back.

We are to be a lighthouse for the lost and a road map for the weary.  Jesus was not just a man seeking to be a voice for Himself; but instead, an extension of the Father’s voice to all He came in contact with and to each He was just what they needed Him to be.  That’s our example of what we are also to be.  As we rest at His feet, we will get the direction we need to be just that – a lighthouse and road map to all those we come in contact with.  I want every word that I write, speak, and teach, to be a Rhema Word straight from the Throne of God and every action I make to be ordered of Him.

You might be saying this is impossible and I say it’s not, because by His Grace through faith and trust in Him, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

It’s time we start living life in front and not living from the backside but trying to speak from the front side.  It’s time we pull the shades up on our glass houses for all the world to see.  If you are looking for a private life hidden from others, then a Kingdom life is probably not for you.  BUT if you want a life that screams “come to me all you who are weary and lost and let me introduce you to a Kingdom life full of eternal life via the one true King Jesus”, then it is time to start living life in the front.

So make the decision to change your life, purpose, and reason, for what it is that you have been called to do.  Move up front where you belong now and forevermore.

Well that’s it for now.  It’s time to get your eyes up & gear up for the best is right at hand.

Please feel free to leave your thoughts, prayers, and praise reports below.
